These terms govern your use of the Klaruna platform. Payments are collected by Paddle.com Market Ltd as our merchant of record; Paddle’s own buyer terms apply to the transaction itself, and these terms apply to the service you receive. Last updated 22 September 2026.
Klaruna is operated by Klaruna Labs, registered in Estonia. You can reach us at support@klaruna.eu.
Klaruna is a business-to-business service. You may use it on behalf of an organisation, using an organisational email address, and you confirm you are authorised to enter into these terms for that organisation. We do not offer the service to consumers, and accounts registered with personal free-email addresses are declined at signup.
Klaruna provides software for recording and managing compliance obligations: whistleblowing reports, data-subject requests, incident registers, pay transparency, policy attestations, conflict-of-interest declarations and vulnerability disclosure, depending on the modules you subscribe to.
Klaruna is a tool, not legal advice, and not a statement that you are compliant. The deadlines, templates and documents it produces are generated from information you provide and from country packs whose review status is shown in the product. Where a pack has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction, every document generated from it says so. You remain responsible for your own legal obligations and for what you do with the output.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for the people you invite, and for keeping credentials and second factors secure. Because tenant content is encrypted with keys scoped to your organisation, we cannot read it, recover it on your behalf, or restore access to an account whose second factor and recovery codes have both been lost.
Accounts created in 2026 are free until 31 December 2026. Accounts created after that receive a 90-day free trial. No payment card is required to start, and we do not charge anything until a trial ends and you choose to subscribe.
Prices are shown on our pricing page, exclusive of VAT, and are charged per organisation rather than per user — there is no seat limit. Annual billing is charged in advance. Payments, invoicing and tax are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Your price does not change for the duration of a subscription period; we will give at least 30 days’ notice before any change takes effect at renewal.
You may cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of the period you have paid for. See our refund policy for how refunds are handled.
You agree not to:
You are the data controller for the personal data you process using Klaruna; we act as your processor. Data is hosted in the European Union. Our privacy policy describes what this website collects; a data processing agreement covering your use of the platform is available on request, and a list of our sub-processors is available to customers with at least 30 days’ notice before any change.
We aim to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we would rather say that plainly than publish a figure we cannot yet evidence. Support requests are answered within two business days.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss. We are not liable for a regulatory outcome, penalty or finding against you.
You may stop using Klaruna at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches section 7, that is used unlawfully, or for which fees remain unpaid after notice. On termination you may export your data; after a period we will tell you at the time, and in line with the retention settings you configured, it is deleted.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give at least 30 days’ notice to account administrators before it takes effect, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under the law of your own country.
