Refund policy

Payments for Klaruna are collected by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. You can contact us directly and we will arrange it. Last updated 21 September 2026.

Try before you pay

Every account starts with a free period and no payment card is required to begin. Accounts created in 2026 are free until 31 December 2026; accounts created afterwards get a 90-day free trial. Nothing is charged until that period ends and you choose to subscribe.

This is deliberate, and it is the main thing this policy rests on: you have months to find out whether Klaruna works for your organisation before any money changes hands, so a refund should rarely be the remedy anyone needs.

14 days after your first payment

If you are unhappy for any reason within 14 days of your first payment, write to us and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason.

Annual subscriptions

If you cancel an annual subscription after the first 14 days, we will refund the unused whole months remaining in the current term, at your discretion, less any months already used. We would rather return money for a service you have stopped using than keep it on a technicality.

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are not pro-rated after the first 14 days. You may cancel at any time; your subscription then runs to the end of the month you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged.

If we are at fault

If the service was unavailable for a prolonged period, or a defect prevented you from using a module you paid for, tell us. We will refund the affected period whether or not the 14 days have passed. This is not conditional on you cancelling.

What is not refunded

How to request a refund

Write to support@klaruna.eu, or open a ticket from the Support page inside your account. Tell us which organisation and which payment. We answer within two business days and will tell you what we are doing; Paddle then returns the money to the original payment method, which typically takes a few further business days depending on your bank.

You can also contact Paddle directly as the seller of record at paddle.net.

Cancelling

Cancelling is not the same as a refund: you can cancel at any time from your billing page and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Your data remains available for export throughout, and is then deleted in line with the retention period your organisation configured.
